We are almost over our colds. Malcolm seems to still have some congestion but is otherwise fine. His bloodwork on Monday revealed platelets in the stratosphere - 792! Hemoglobin increased to 110 but ANC took a nosedive to 285 so he was/is severely neutropenic. He has bloodwork again on Friday so we are hoping for a bigger number so that we can relax a bit on the weekend.

ReplyDeleteGuess we will postpone our get together today. Hope you guys are on the way back up with his ANC. I've just got a friend of mine to give me a layman's explanation of all the terms and numbers - so I now know ANC isn't the African National Congress as I had previously thought! Anyway, hope you have a nice weekend and everything gets back to normal with the numbers.
